In addition to its low co-efficient of friction, FEP Tubing offers excellent performance at both low and high temperatures, along with outstanding resistance to most chemicals. It is a clear, translucent color.

FEP tubing is non-aging, nontoxic and non-allergenic. It maintains its stiffness, has excellent strength and is crack-resistant. FEP tubing has the best abrasion resistance of all the fluoropolymer tubings. It is chemically inert and heat resistant. It is bendable even at -454 degrees F.

Temperature range: – 400 degrees F to + 400 degrees F
Color: Translucent
Durometer: Shore D 56 ±5
Specifications: ASTM D-3295-81a

PFA tubing has the same advantages as PTFE. The chemical resistance of PFA is comparable to PTFE. PFA is translucent and slightly flexible. PFA has a greater mechanical strength than PTFE. PFA resists aggressive chemicals and high temperature chemical processing. PFA has the lowest levels of metal ions of all Fluoropolymer tubing. PFA is the best for semiconductor piping applications. It is accepted for both liquid reagent and UPDI water handling in advanced processing applications.

Maximum operating temperature: + 500 degrees F
Melting temperature: 305 degrees C
Specifications: ASTM D-3295-81a

In addition to its low co-efficient of friction, PTFE Tubing offers excellent performance at both low and high temperatures, along with outstanding resistance to most chemicals. It has a milky white color. PTFE tubing is non-aging, nontoxic and non-allergenic. It maintains its stiffness, has excellent strength, is crack-resistant and offers good shock and abrasion resistance. It has excellent dielectric properties. PTFE tubing is the most flexible of all the fluoropolymer tubings.

Temperature range: – 400 degrees F to + 500 degrees F
Color: Natural white
Durometer: Shore D 60 ±5
Specifications: ASTM D-3295-81a
